Learn about Europe’s economic crisis in Brussels and Frankfurt

The European Journalism Centre is hosting a seminar titled “The Global Role of the Euro” for business journalists from Sept. 1-4 in Brussels and Frankfurt.
The seminar will cover:
  • How Europe has handled the economic crisis
  • How European currency has protected European economies
  • What the economic policies of the European Commission and the European Central Bank will be like in the future

Participants will meet with representatives from Brussels think tanks as well as European Commission and European Central Bank officials. Participants will also get to meet European business journalists. Reporters from Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Singapore and the U.S. will all be in attendance.
The seminar will be conducted in English and the European Commission will cover the cost of travel, accommodation and some meals.
