Calling all cub reporters

With a record number of students enrolled in journalism schools, there are no doubt a high number of beginners looking to break into the biz.

Here’s a site – CubReporters.org – that promises to guide new journalists through the trenches of finding internships, fellowships and full-time reporting gigs. The site is packed with advice from veteran journalists and also offers tips on interviewing and lists of training opportunities. It’s editor is Mark Grabowski, a professor at Adelphi University in Long Island who teaches media law and online journalism.

Most useful area of the site: a breakdown of publications perfect for beginners. The site features the top spots to target for entry-level journalism jobs and an aggregated list of current opportunities.
