Cool job of the week: Planet Money producer needed

PlanetMoneyJobsPlanet Money, NPR’s mulitimedia team covering the global economy, is looking for someone with at least 3 years experience in radio production.

In the JournalismJobs.com listing, Planet Money editors say they are looking for a producer who will edit program material, initiate, plan and produce broadcasts, podcasts and the Planet Money blog.

The successful candidate would have digital media experience, including blogging and social networking. Skill in ProTools, Movable Type, PhotoShop and other digital-editing systems. At least two years of experience in live broadcasting. At least two years of experience working with daily deadlines. At least one year of experience in editorial decision-making.

Also required is experience covering business news.

No salary was specified The job is in New York.
