Bloomberg seeks editor on bonds, currencies desk

Bloomberg logoBloomberg News is seeking an experienced editor for its U.S. government bonds and currencies desk in New York, according to an ad on Poynter.org. It states:

“The editor will be responsible for stories about the movements of the major government bond and currency markets, interviews with prominent money managers and investment strategists, and government finances and policy. The ideal candidate will also have several years of experience editing feature stories, at least five years of experience in business journalism, and be able to produce clear, concise and accurate copy under deadline pressure. The editor will also be expected to serve as a mentor and coach to reporters and should be comfortable working within a team environment.”
