“Produce a Business News Video in a Day” was a specialized training workshop held during the 2010 Society of America Business Editors & Writers conference in Phoenix.

The intensive day of hands-on training helped journalists learn the skills to shoot business news videos.

The session was led by Brian Snyder, a TV-production specialist and a faculty associate at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication who teaches videography and non-linear editing.

About the Author

She has worked as a reporter for several newspapers, most recently The Arizona Republic, and has been an adjunct professor at Arizona State University’s Cronkite School. She has a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Nonfiction from Goucher College and holds a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from West Virginia University. Kelly also was a fellow at The Poynter Institute and a contributing writer for "Cancer Stories: Lessons in Love, Loss & Hope."
