Reporter Benjamin Bathke was one of the busiest attendees at last month’s Reynolds Week. The annual conference sponsored by the Donald W. Reynolds National Center for Business Journalism and held at ASU’s Cronkite School featured speakers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Bloomberg and the L.A. Times. Bathke, a freelance journalist based in Germany, covered the conference for MediaShift, and reports here on some of the highlights. For business journalists who couldn’t be there in person, it’s a rich source of reporting tips, story ideas and insider insights.
