Trouble with a story? We’ll help.
As David Carr of The New York Times said early in November, the business of business may be back, but the business of covering it is not. And probably will never be again.
Business magazines are slashing staffs and cutting pages. Business desks have trimmed the ranks. But there is still an appetite for reading and writing about business. Just few of us to do it.
We want to help by putting business journalists together. In many newsrooms, there is no longer an older reporter, columnists or editor to turn to when you get stuck on a story.
We want you to turn to them here.
There are a few ways to do it.
Jump in to the DAILY STORY IDEA CHAT. Someone in there may be able to help.
Or leave your question in the comment field at the bottom of this page. We’ll track down an expert to give you some tips or an answer to your problem. And then we’ll feature those answers on this Question & Answer page.
We’re also looking for senior (not old) business reporters and editors we can turn to for help. If you want to be added to our list, please shoot me a note (Robin Phillips) .. or leave word in the chat below.
