Jonathan Higuera


Jonathan, who became the first Deputy Director of the Reynolds Center in November 2006, is a veteran business reporter who worked most recently at The Arizona Republic. He manages some of the Center's key programs, writes for BusinessJournalism.org and represents the Center at training workshops. Jonathan's career has included business reporting for The Arizona Daily Star and Tucson Citizen and a metro reporter for The Washington Times. Author Archives


Anita Malik


As Web Managing Editor, Anita is responsible for design, content and daily management of BusinessJournalism.org and Reynolds Center's marketing campaigns. She is also a presenter at its workshops. She joined the staff in December 2007. She is the publisher and founding editor of East West, a niche lifestyle magazine targeting Asian Americans and has been recognized as “one to watch” in the magazine industry by Folio. Anita has also worked at MetroNetworks, as a radio reporter, and at The Arizona Republic. Author Archives


Kelly Carr


Assistant Web Editor Kelly writes and edits stories for BusinessJournalism.org. She is also involved in organizing and editing the Reynolds Center's workshop training materials, as well as participating in its workshops. She joined the staff in December 2007. Kelly has experience as a reporter for several newspapers, most recently The Arizona Republic, and has been an adjunct professor at Arizona State University's Cronkite School. She has a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Nonfiction from Goucher College and holds a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from West Virginia University. Author Archives
