Moderator /Panelist – Jodi Schneider
Jodi Schneider is director of training and development for the newsroom of Congressional Quarterly, a publication that has the largest news team covering Capitol Hill. Jodi has been at CQ for more than four years. She was first deputy economics editor and then economics editor. Previously, she was an assistant managing editor at U.S. News and World Report. Before joining U.S. News, Schneider was local business editor at The Washington Post for five years.
Panelist - Rex Nutting Rex Nutting has been Washington bureau chief of MarketWatch since 1997. Prior to joining MarketWatch, he worked at United Press International, the (Quincy) Patriot Ledger and the Salt Lake Tribune. He earned a master's in economics at the American University.
Panelist – Leslie Wayne
Leslie Wayne is a political and business reporter at The New York Times. Her specialty is campaign finance and money and politics. She has come off the campaign trail to do stories on the current financial crisis, and, in the past, has covered the Pentagon budget, municipal finance and the banking system. She had previously worked at The Philadelphia Inquirer and The News and Observer in Raleigh, North Carolina.
