I spoke with several executives who agreed to speak to me on background. Mostly they all felt the same way about the summit: They were thankful that API organized something. They thought it was a good start but there were execution problems. The choice of speakers was too academic, too technical, and they didn't seen to really understand the industry. They wanted more time for round-table discussions, so they could commiserate and share ideas. They wanted to meet again -- and much sooner than six months from now.The blog continues with quotes from several executives who were glad for the event and the chance to share ideas, but still frustrated and looking to make more progress as an industry.
