Write and edit industry information in L.A.

Industry Intelligence Inc. is looking for a full-time online content writer and editor in Los Angeles, California.
The writer/editor will author original content, edit online copy, tag information and handle online publication for the company's Web site. The selected candidate will also gather information and data from media sources on the forest products, packaging and real estate industries.
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in journalism and one to two years' experience in the journalism industry. Candidates should also have editorial training and previous business writing experience. Those applying should be comfortable with computers and adept in using the Web (particularly in e-mailing, Googling and instant messaging).

Four projects and investigations editors wanted at Bloomberg

Bloomberg L.P. is looking for four full-time projects and investigations production editors in New York, Washington D.C., Los Angeles and San Francisco.
The editors will be responsible for making the final preparations on stories from the Bloomberg's projects and investigations teams heading to publication. Along with copy-editing and fact checking articles, the editors will coordinate all photos, graphics, audio video and links.
Candidates should have a bachelor's degree and at least five years' experience in copy editing.

Reuters seeking fuel market reporter

Reuters is looking for a full-time journalist to cover the U.S. fuel market in its Los Angeles bureau.

The selected applicant will report on fuel issues ranging from refinery fires to heating oil prices to regulation and investment. The journalist will also examine shifting trends in demand.
Applicants should have:
  • A Bachelor of Arts
  • Five years' experience at a major news organization
  • At least two years' experience covering energy
  • Experience in reporting breaking news
  • Strong source cultivation skills
