Soak in solar energy in California

Photon USA Corp. wants a full-time solar energy reporter to call its own in San Francisco.
The journalist will write for news magazine Photon International, covering the politics, architecture, technology and business issues in America's solar electricity industry.
The magazine is published around the world in multiple languages and owns its own testing laboratory. Photon offers its employees flexible working hours, vacation days and complimentary meals during the work day.
Candidates should have previous experience writing for a newspaper or other news organization. A degree in solar energy or previous experience in the solar energy are a plus when applying. Fluency in another language is also a benefit. Applicants should be able to work independently and be passionate about photovoltaics.

Edit breaking technology news for MIT's Technology Review

Tech-savvy? The Technology Review by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology is in need of a technology and computer science editor in San Francisco.
The editor will help the magazine achieve its goal to "assist business and technology leaders (CTOs, senior technologists, entrepreneurs and venture capitalists) in shaping markets and driving the global economy."
The editor will work with senior staff to develop story and blog ideas for the magazine's Web site, occasionally write articles for the publication and work with the Web designer to find art to accompany stories. The editor will also be responsible for discovering and working with new freelance contributors.
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in science or technology, preferably accompanied with a graduate degree in journalism. Candidates should also posses at least two years' experience as a technology or science writer and previous editing experience.

Edit for The REO Insider in Texas

Publishing and media firm The LTV Group in Dallas, Texas is looking for an associate editor.

Become the Editor-in-Chief in Egypt

The American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt needs an editor-in-chief in Cairo.
The editor will direct content and business teams to run and produce the chamber's various publications. The chief will be expected to play a large role in the business management of the chamber's 10 different publications.
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree or similar journalism training as well as a confident understanding of business. Candidates should have at least three years of journalism and business management experience and should be a native English speaker. Knowledge of Arabic is preferable but not required in applicants. Caijing Magazine in Beijing, China is looking for five native English-speaking financial editors to come refine its newswire content.
The editors will work with junior Chinese writers who are using English as a second language to create clear, often breaking business news for institutional investors.
Applicants should have at least three years' experience at a daily newspaper, Web site or newswire. Candidates should also possess a background in economics, finance and business. All potential editors will be required to take a timed editing test.

The journalist will cover the business, humanities and arts beat. He or she will cover MIT research and teaching through spot news, profiles, trend stories and features.
