The Federal Reserve is expected to raise interest rates by a one quarter of one percentage point sometime this year, and liberals and conservatives alike are watching what the central bank does very closely, the New York Times reports. In short, the left wants the Fed to punt an interest rate hike down the road, while the right is cheering on the proposed hike.
