Alessandra is pursuing a Master’s degree in Investigative Journalism from the Cronkite school where she aims to learn the skills needed to hold powerful institutions accountable, highlight critical societal issues, and advocate for equitable solutions.
Alessandra grew up in Guadalajara, Mexico where she completed most of her K-12 education. She also lived in Tucson, Arizona for 10 years, where she received a B.A. in English Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Arizona in 2019. Since then, Alessandra has taught English abroad, worked in higher education admissions and recruitment, and in employer brand marketing and social media.
These experiences have developed her love of storytelling, and she is excited to tailor her skills to cover business journalism stories with a strong human element.
