Alana Lynch

Alana is a student at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University, where she’s pursuing both her undergraduate degree and a master’s in communications with a focus on public relations. A passionate storyteller, she is driven by a deep curiosity and commitment to uncovering perspectives often left unheard.

On campus, Alana is a standout leader. She serves as the internal vice president of the National Association of Black Journalists and secretary for The FlareTV, a student-led media organization focused on broadcast, sports and culture. She also holds leadership roles within the National Pan-Hellenic Council as public relations chair and is a proud member of the Kappa Iota Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc.

Her work spans a wide range of coverage, including high school sports, Phoenix Fashion Week, HBCU All-Star events, artist profiles and album reviews. She also brings valuable experience from the public relations industry, having served as a communications intern at the Arizona School Boards Association.

Alana’s love for storytelling is matched by her dedication to community. Whether through music, fashion, art or local voices, she seeks to highlight culture in all its forms and amplify stories that deserve a larger platform. With every project, she works to uplift, inform and inspire through thoughtful and authentic media.
