UNC adds major in business journalism

The University of North Carolina will offer a major in business journalism starting in the fall.

Students will be required to complete at least 22 credit hours from its School of Journalism in Chapel Hill and at least 16 hours from its Kenan-Flagler Business School, according to Chris Roush, the school’s Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Scholar in business journalism. UNC’s Board of Governors approved the major today.
