Madeline is an award-winning business storyteller who is pursuing a master’s in investigative journalism from the Cronkite School. Prior to her master’s, she graduated with a degree in journalism and political science.
Madeline believes in the power of impactful storytelling to drive change in communities. Her reporting — from her hometown of Phoenix to Washington, D.C. — has uncovered millions in unused federal funds for homeless students, sparked a consumer petition against Kroger and brought the legality of many unpaid internships into question. You can find her work in The Guardian, USA TODAY, Fast Company, The Arizona Republic, Phoenix New Times and other Arizona publications.
As someone who grew up with a chronic illness, she believes in the power of journalism to bridge the disparities that often go overlooked in the world of business and health care. She is excited to bring that mission to the Reynolds Center.
