Sam holds dual degrees in journalism and film studies, along with a political science minor, from ASU. During his undergrad, he served as the editor-in-chief of State Press Magazine, ASU’s independent, student-led print and digital magazine. Starting in fall 2023, he will be pursuing a master’s in investigative journalism at the Cronkite School as a Roy W. Howard fellow. He is interested in reporting on tech, finance and the business of media. Sam is also a dual citizen of Sweden and hopes to study and work abroad in the future.
